View Teacher Qualification Index Data

 This page allows you to select the school districts in "data sets" of your choice.  If you select one of the custom data sets, you will be prompted on the next page to enter parameters to narrow the set.  If you select one of the pre-defined data sets, districts meeting the pre-defined parameters will appear when you click on the proceed button.

Custom Data Sets (you supply the parameters)
By County.  See school districts within a particular county in California.
 By TQI Rating.  See school districts whose average Teacher Qualification Index Rating falls within a selected range.
 By Poverty. See school districts in which the student poverty level falls within a selected range.
 By ELL.  See school districts in which the percentage of English Language Learners falls within a selected range.
 By API Rank.  See school districts in which the average Academic Performance Rating (API) falls within a selected range.
By Spread.  See school districts according to the way underqualified teachers are distributed among the schools.

Pre-defined Data Sets
 California's 10 Largest Districts (by enrollment)
Districts in which the SPREAD of underqualified teachers was MORE EVEN than prior year
Districts in which the SPREAD of underqualified teachers was LESS EVEN than prior year
Districts in which the Average TQI for the district INCREASED from prior year (by at least one TQI point)
Districts in which the Average TQI for the district DECREASED from prior year (by at least one TQI point)
